MY FAVOURITE FOOD IS RICE AND BEANS

          Rice and beans is my favourite food wherever i find myself, especially with pepper, seasoning and groundnut oil. Rice and beans is a hausa traditional food although those who are interacting with hausa people take it as their food also, like yoruba, igbos and others.

          I have a friend from Kogi State whose name is Fatima that paid a visit to my home last year 2010. In the noon hours after some minutes our mother brought her some food covered inside plate because i have already ate my own food. Fatima opened the plate but unfortunately she saw what she never expected to see, it was just rice and beans with groundnut oil and pepper with some spices. She refused to eat the food until i convinced her to, because she had never experienced it in her tradition. By the time she tasted the food she realized that the food is so delicious and nice. since that day, she learned and continued to eat rice and beans up to date.

MY BEST LECTURER

          My best lecturer is late Professor Abdullahi Wurma of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria who died in an automobile accident. Prior to his death, he was the provost of college of education Daura, Katsina state and he is the one who supervised my project on my first degree. May Allah rest his humble soul in perfect peace, Amin.

I PREFER TO STAY IN MY VILLAGE

                                                                        I don't know about the city life until i visited one of my

relative who works with the General Murtala Muhammad special hospital. on that visit, i experienced many things. i realized that not everybody was living in good atmosphere in the city because city life involves many problems that can easily affect the lives of people especially the younger ones. For example criminal acts are rampant like stealing, drug abuse, robbery and lack of cooperation among the people. However, there is no good water supply and air pollution threatens the lives of people. Noise and atmospheric or gas pollution also disturbs their peace and health. However, elders in the city don't receive much respect from the youths, compared to my village. Moreover, every body in the city is after money only few of the people that can assist anyone. That is why i prefer my village than to stay in the city.

WHY THINGS ARE FALLING?

    In this world everything is all about falling more especially the important ones. Example of this is about religion itself. our great jurists or scholars are dying and it is difficult to have their replacement.                  Politically, our great leaders who devote their lives to the development of our country are missing and it is very hard to find people like them.
     Sociologically, people don't want to harmonize themselves toward the development of their society.
     Economically, youths don't want to do some difficult jobs like farming, building, blacksmith, mechanic, carpentry but they prefer white collar jobs and fashionable ones. That is why things are so difficult to many Nigerian societies.

LIFE IS ABOUT PATIENCE

        No matter how big or small you are, no matter how rich or poor you are, you are a leader or a follower, you are a man or a woman. In as much as you are living in this very world, you must exercise patience in your daily activities. that is the solution to our daily problems. May Allah bless us with it.

I LIKE MANCHESTER UNITED THAN SUPER EAGLE

         Football is all about pleasure, happiness and excitement, not for hungry or displease. people watch football and support some clubs for pleasure and entertainment. when you go to the football stadium or field, your great aim is to win or to defeat the opposing club not to play draw or being defeated by rebel club. if it is true that football is all about pleasure no body will support the team or club that will make him annoyed or sad, because it is not part of religion. it is just an entertainment. with this reason i prefer Manchester United than the super eagle, because manchester united football club always their players and management are after the satisfaction of their fans, if theteam is playing very interesting with the hope of defeating the opposing team.

         But "super eagle" although is my national team, but the club and its management are not after the satisfaction of their management or their country, they play inexperienced without the zeal of their country. If you compare them with Ghana "black star" you will know that Ghana's players are playing in the name of their country not for money or otherwise. That is why i like manchester united football club of England than the Nigerian "super eagles"
